Improving Literacy Skills
Across the country, young students struggle with basic literacy. With only 41% of Indonesians graduating from senior high school (Grades 10-12), millions are left unequipped to navigate an increasingly modern world. By gifting storybooks to children, we hope to strengthen their reading comprehension and spark a lifelong love of language, one that empowers them in school, in work, and in life.
Promoting Green Storytelling
As we grow older, our childhood books often sit untouched, hidden away on dusty shelves. Yet, for countless Indonesian students, the chance to hold a book, let alone call one their own, remains out of reach. By repurposing secondhand books, we breathe new life into forgotten pages, making stories accessible while encouraging sustainability.
Cultivating a Love for Learning
Reading is more than a skill—it’s a gateway to expression, discovery, and change. It helps us understand the world, share our ideas, and stand up for what we believe in. By encouraging a love for reading among Indonesian youth, we hope to expand their academic and career horizons, empowering them to break cycles of inequality and shape a future filled with possibility.
